Recently upgraded from XP, I like Ubuntu 7.10 a lot, but sound?
Hello - I can get the sound to work in the CD player in Ubuntu 7.10, that's great, but when I go to a website with a video or something, I can't hear what they're saying. Also, I've got Limewire downloaded so it played the sounds once, but since I shut it down it looks like it's operating, but no sound emanates from the speakers while Limewire is downloading favorite tunes from favorite bands. It worked real good under MS Windows, but having trouble with Ubuntu, even though I like the interface. Can someone help me with my problem here? Thanks ahead of time.
Phil Reschly.
