Adobe Flash isn't avaialble for 64 bit ubuntu. However, theres an unofficial, free version of flash called gnash. It doesnt support all flash sites, but its worth a try. If you're using feisty fawn or gutsy gibbon, follow the instructions in this video for installing flash player 7, but unable universe rather than multiverse, and search for, and install, gnash rather than flash.
If you're using edgy, i cant help you. Sorry :(
Easy way to get Flash Player 9
Just enable the Backports repository in "System>Administration>Software Sources>Internet Updates>Backported Updates" and then install Flash with the "Add/Remove" tool. You are now running Flash Player 9!
Thanks for that.
Thanks for that. Unfortunately this video was made a while ago. Now Flash 9 for Linux is out, some of this is irrelevant.

Installing Flashplayer 9
Sadly, Adobe have spoilt your talk a bit by moving the download to a different place -- it's now at labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer9.html.
And I found that I had to close and re-open Firefox before Flash became active. The talk didn't seem to mention that.
