Beware Tiger!

Mmmmmm looks like the little stuffed tiger is alive ! :-)

Diego.

:)

You're the first person to comment about that :) He does indeed do a bit of bouncing.. That's what Tiggers do.

Inaccurate Information

From the screencast, The linux kernel is an operating system.

It is most certainly NOT an operating system. It is a KERNEL, which is part of an operating system. I find this screencast very misleading, especially as an introduction for people new to linux or gnu/linux. In it's current form it may be better to remove it, or better updated it with accurate information.

My apologies for the rather harsh criticism, especially in light of me not offering an improved narrative.

Tim

gnu/linux

As a newbie... What's the difference between Linux and gnu/Linux?

Thanks for the feedback

You are of course correct, Linux is the kernel part of the operating system.

Given the rather clear clarification in your comment I don't think it's necessary to pull the video.
